ATFS Learning Center
rewards the kids for their achievements and performances.
Eligibility
Children at ATFS
have to be enrolled for either the After School Program, Remote Learning or
the Accelerated Learning Programs. Children have be enrolled in any of these
programs for 6 months continuously. We follow a Semester System and children
need to be enrolled for the whole semester. They may switch from one program
to another within the semester if the situation warrants. This switch will
need to be approved by the director.
Topics for each semester
must be decided in the beginning of the semester and no switching of topics
within a semester will be permitted. Parents input (if required) will need
to be presented at the time of enrollment for the semester.
Most of
the topics selected will be included in the 6 month program and children
will be assigned custom workbooks. ATFS may recommend customization of the
topic list based on child performance or material sequencing. Completion of
these workbooks (fact books in Science and all Reading comprehension
workbooks completed and submitted) qualifies them for a reward in those
topics. Children can do a maximum of 7 topics or a maximum of 12 topics
within a semester depending on the type of program they have enrolled for.
All ASL students can have a maximum of 7 topics only during a semester
unless they chose to go with a hybrid program.
A child will be awarded a
medal and a certificate for each completed topic based on the criteria
below.

ATFS holds
a prize distribution ceremony at the end of each year to encourage the
children.ATFS Semesters
ATFS follows semester
system. Each calendar year is divided into 2 semesters. An updated copy of
the curriculum is released before the start of each semester. Before each
semester, the topics that need to be covered are agreed upon. At the end of each semester, all score cards for the successfully
completed ATFS topics for the semester are considered as inputs to the ATFS
Rewards program. Successful completion of the topic means
that all ATFS materials assigned have been completed and evaluated
