Team

Gauri Chandna serves as founder and CEO of ATFS and is responsible for all aspects of planning, operations and management. Gauri started ATFS out of her passion to provide a unique service to the community. Her experience and knowledge comes from her various project management assignments that she had while working as a Consultant in software companies. Leveraging her engineering background, Gauri has been instrumental in providing knowledge management, ERP, and e-business solutions to her clients. Building quality solutions and training people on any new releases have both been her strengths. Along the way she discovered that her passion has been teaching and motivating people.

Along with building business solutions, she has managed computer learning centers in her past.  Gauri’s pleasant personality and analyzing capabilities blend very well in providing a relaxed yet growth-oriented environment to kids. Her positive enthusiasm has now been instrumental in taking this venture beyond her own expectations.

In addition to Aadhaarshila, Gauri is very actively involved in several community activities targeted towards betterment of the next generation.

Gauri has been covered in many publications and has recently been nominated for the prestigious Woman of the Year award 2005.
 

 

Positions Open

Sales and Enrollment Associate: Responsibilities include setting up new enrollments with external and internal clients. Administration related to the enrollment process. Required skills are Microsoft word and excel. Excellent communication skills. Work hours 2 - 6 weekdaus and 9 - 12 on Saturdays.
Tutors:
Responsibilities include teaching middle and high school students with a focused goal of improving grades, moving ahead in class or finishing up a course at an accelerated pace. Includes assessing the child, setting the pace for the individual child as well as assigning homework and correcting it. Expertise in at least one of the following subjects: Basic Math, Algebra, Geometry, Calculus, Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Creative writing, and  Language arts
. Previous experience in teaching desired. Work hours Monday through Friday 4 - 6 p.m. (per class schedule) and Saturdays based on class schedules. Positive attitude and good communication skill are expected. Hourly Pay to be determined based on past experience.

After School Teachers: Responsibilities include working closely with middle school children on a daily basis to help them with their homework, correct their school homework and help them get better in academics. Also includes defining, maintaining and monitoring the academic path along the ATFS curriculum for each child. Work hours include Monday through Friday 2 - 6 p.m. Positive attitude and good communication skill are a must for each of the positions below.

Current Openings: Starting September 2007 through June 2008

Primary Teacher: Grades KG - 2.
Elementary Teacher: Grades 3 - 4
Middle School Math: Skilled in Basic Math, Algebra, Geometry
Middle School English and Social Studies
Middle School Science: Chemistry, Biology and Physics

Previous experience in teaching desired or an interest in teaching will work equally good. Flexibility on Saturdays is a plus.  Hourly Pay to be determined based on past experience.

Volunteer at ATFS: Volunteers required to come in once, twice, or more times a week for correction work. Answer sheets will be provided. Correction work includes Math, Science and English worksheets for Elementary, Middle and high school children.
