Focus

Accelerated learning program is an excellent way to keep your child challenged. Focus of the program is to provide a channel for the kids to move ahead of their grade level. It provides the additional challenge that they may not get in schools. The pace and depth is determined by the child's ability. Standard text books are followed in a classroom setting. The goal is to introduce concepts early on and master them through enough practice.

 Grades

Grades  2, 3 & 4
Focus: Accelerated Math, creative problem solving using text books Science lessons

Fee: $100.00 per month (3 classes)

Grades 5, 6, and 7
Focus: Accelerated Math, creative problem solving using text books Science lessons
setting: classroom with a white board
Fee: $125.00 per month (3 classes) 

Grades 8,9 and 10
Focus: Algebra 1 or Geometry
setting: small group setting
Fee: $150.00 per month

For each grade level , expectations are set using textbooks based on ATFS curriculum. Weekly targets are assigned to individual children. Between classes, we recommend spending half hour to 45 minutes on ATFS work each day. In the next class, their work is submitted, questions answered, new concepts learnt and worked upon. They come home with satisfied minds and eagerness to practice what they have learnt.

Saturday (Sept thru May)
Elementary grades 2 - 4: 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
Middle Grades 5 - 7 : 11:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
Algebra: Grades 8 - 10: 1:00 p.m. - 2:30 p.m.
Geometry Grades 8 - 10 : 3:00 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.


Progress Reports:
Progress is monitored through monthly tests and workbook scores. In addition for Basic Math, and Science certificates and medals are awarded on successful completion of a topic  and trophies are awarded on graduating to the next level as defined in the ATFS rewards policies.

Attendance:
Any planned vacation or days off must be communicated to us at the beginning of the month.  
Any unscheduled day off must be communicated to us at least 24 hours in advance. 
For the missed class – worksheets may be picked up from the center to do at home or a make up class may be scheduled in the available slot on a week day preferably during the same month.

 

  Payment & Fees

There will be a registration fee of $20.00 for the academic year for each enrollment. Invoices are given in time for payments each month. Regardless of that, Non refundable payment checks , payable to ATFS  will  be due on the 1st of each month.  The first payment is due at  the time of enrollment. For all other payments, a late charge of $5.00 will be imposed on any payments made after the 5th of each month and before the 10th; $10.00 for payments made between the 11th and 20th; $20 for payments made between 20th and 31st.
