ATFS Math Levels
ATFS Math Curriculum is divided into 5 different Levels that take a child from KG to Grade 12 in 5 major steps. Each Level has various topics that we offer. In general a child is assessed taking into consideration the grade that they are in. That is just the beginning. Some children may be behind and others may be advanced. Also, children may be advanced in one topic and behind in others. ATFS Level definitions are a good guideline to assess your child. The detail topics have been listed in each level which helps determine where your child is.

Grades KG & 1 – Level A
Grades 2 & 3 – Level 1
Grades 4 & 5 – Level 2
Grades 6,7 & 8 – Level 3
Grades 9, 10, 11 & 12 – Level 4

ATFS Math Topics
Each ATFS Level has multiple topics. ATFS Topics must be chosen in such a way that the topics that your child is behind in, must be covered first. That builds the confidence of your child before they advance to the next level.  . Each ATFS Topic has ATFS worksheets available that have been carefully designed to cover the topic thoroughly. Supporting Materials available for each topic include worksheets from other resources and lesson/instruction sheets from books and other sources. The intent is to introduce, practice, apply , and master each topic I each level using all of the assigned materials. Children work through each topic. Each ATFS worksheet is individually evaluated and the scores tracked through its unique number. Monthly progress reports keep parents informed of the percentages achieved in each topic.

Course Materials: ATFS curriculum is based on NTCM standards. ATFS worksheets have been designed and developed by a team of teachers at the ATFS center in Shrewsbury. All supporting materials have been taken from various sources like workbooks, textbooks and the internet with a lot of care and precision in order to cover each topic thoroughly. The material collections have been sequenced in way that the child is able to see the big picture as well as the minor details. We have tried to arrange the materials in such a way that children are able to understand different approaches as well as be able to apply them in word problems. The goal has been to develop mathematical and analytical skills.
