Introduction

Remote Learning provides a unique combination of Excellent Quality, Great Convenience and Most affordable pricing (as low as $50.00 per month) for our students. This provides Math, English and Science Supplement materials. ATFS follows a MATH Curriculum that has been developed with inputs from various experienced teachers. ATFS worksheet collections are sent to your home each month or these may be picked up at our Shrewsbury center each week at a predetermined day and time.

 Focus
For math, focus of this environment is to be able to provide thorough practice on each Math topic following the standards that you have come to expect from ATFS. Worksheets cover all aspects of the topic through various types of problems including word problems. The goal is not only to keep the students challenged and learning through the elementary and middle school years but also build a strong foundation for High School Algebra and Geometry. For English, the lessons have been designed for each grade level. Each spelling lesson includes 20 words and supporting exercises for the child to be able to memorize and absorb each spelling for a longer lasting memory. Vocabulary worksheets allow the children to understand meaning of the words and learn to develop sentences. Reading comprehension come with grade level stories and related questions. These workbooks may be customized to include cursive writing practice as well as Language Arts materials. Science materials have been sorted in theme units accompanied by corresponding worksheet collections. 
ATFS follows annual system. An updated copy of the curriculum is published before the start of each year. The topics for each grade are pre-determined. A set of 10 topics are covered over a 10 month period. 

Months: September to June
Last Date for Enrollment and fees: August 20th
Last Date for submitting all 10 books: July 15th


Children can join in the Math monthly test , the first Friday of each month. All ATFS children may participate in contests throughout the year.

 Payment & Fees

Full 10 month session fee will be required at the time of enrollment for the whole semester in the form of non refundable payment checks , payable to ATFS . There is also a registration fee of $20.00 . This registration fee will take you through one session. For details please read our policies
 

 Program Details

Enrollment: Fill enrollment form, and submit with fee. Enrollment must be done before last date. Mid session enrollments will be accepted but the children will not be eligible for the rewards unless a back dated enrollment is done. Any late enrollments will incur late fee.
 Workbook assignment: Worksheet collections are mailed or are picked up from the ATFS center per the schedule agreed upon at the time of enrollment. The children will be expected to complete the workbook in one month (mailing) or complete the assigned work for the week (weekly pickup). All workbooks must be completed by the due date or an extension of the date must be taken.
Mailing Schedule: The workbooks will be mailed for the first two months - one every month. The third month mailing will be triggered by the completed workbook sent back to us. When your child completes a workbook, you are required to mail it back to us for correction. Once we receive the workbooks, the new workbook will be mailed within 10 business days along with the corrected workbook. If we do not receive any completed workbooks, no new workbooks will be mailed to you. Your child is eligible for a maximum of 10 workbooks for every subject enrolled. The minimum will be 2 per subject. The exact number of workbooks will be determined by your child’s speed.
Answer books: Answer books are not provided to the parents. All workbooks must be sent back to the center for correction.
 Score Cards: Score cards are maintained for all students here at ATFS.
Completed workbooks for correction: Math, English and/or science workbooks must be mailed back to ATFS center for corrections each month per the due date or must be brought back by hand ( every week. These will be corrected at no additional cost and mailed back to you with your next mailing or will be available for pick up at the center (weekly pick up).
Lost Workbooks: If any of the above workbooks are lost, there will be an additional charge of $25.00 per workbook/worksheets for replacement workbooks.
 Mid Semester subject Changes: Mid semester subject changes are not recommended. Each year when you reenroll for the “Take out” program, please visit the subjects carefully so you enroll for what you think your child will be able to handle for the next 10 months. If you still need to stop mid semester, all rewards will be lost.
